The Goblet Club nominated for M.E.R Youth prize

I didn’t even know my book was nominated and the folks at BookSA knew even before I got the call but it’s fantastic news for a first-time author and even better for the other nominees from the I-am-a-writer series.

That’s right, three titles from the I-am-a-writer series of books have been nominated for M.E.R awards this year and I couldn’t be more proud of everyone!

I’m hoping that Mark’s dark adventures in St. Matthews College sway the judges in my favour.

Everyone please hold thumbs!

Last year the prize went to Johan Engelbrecht's debut novel, Kaffertjie which was an outstanding stand-alone novel. This year I'm hoping that Mark's dark adventures in St. Matthews College sway the judges in my favour.

    Everyone please hold thumbs!
