The Zombie Haiku

I found this amazing article on Neatorama about zombie haikus in the style of famous poets.

This is a zombie haiku

Playing fetch with Spot
is dangerous when the bones
he brings back still move.

This is a zombie haiku in the style of Dylan Thomas

Do not go gentle
into that zombie plagued night.
And take the shotgun.

William Shakespeare?

To bite through the skull
or beat it against the wall?
That is the question.

Love Neatorama. And zombie haikus rock. Did you see this on Iwatchstuff.com about a new movie featuring Nazi Zombies! Genius! Nazi Zombies! So obvious! Why has no-one ever done it before?

Ah, sorry I submitted and nothing happened. so I cut and paste and refreshed and resubmitted...

Also: when I try to read some posts, like Richard's bibliophile one, the text alignment is screwy, too far to the left, so the first three letters of every sentence on the left are cut off.

I'm going to leave the duplications intact for the moment, so we can see what the heck's going on here.

General rule - both for disappearing comments and a screwy alignments - is "shift refresh". That seems to take care of the problem.

    V. funny. More James Joyce than Hemingway, tho...

You must know that long list of reasons the chicken crossed the road according to figures as diverse as Einstein and Groucho Marx. My absolute favourite was always the following:

Q: Why did the chicken cross the road?
A by Hemingway: To die. In the rain.

You lost me. I am going back to take more quizzes. Why worry about deadlines? My chances on the Zombie apocalypse were 43%, but I lied about my kitties. The little darlings would probably turn zomboid and toy with me like a mouse. I would rescue them anyway.

I am a 36% geek (that's without the haircut) with a 59% chance of surviving a Zombie apocalypse, aided and abetted, no doubt, by the fact that I could quite easily bump off several close relatives - infected or not. At this point I feel obliged to suggest that the Zombie apocalypse has already happened - it's known as accounting.
